Meet Frances Close. As a Design Lead she works to see projects from start to finish, insuring they are a complete success. Frances is also a visual designer working with UX design. After studying graphic design at Grand Valley, Frances moved to Chicago to start a career. She shared, “I thought I had to move to Chicago, but Grand Rapids is growing so much so it made it easy to come back to GR, there is a great art community here.”
We asked Frances, “What are you proud of?”
“I am proud when I see younger designers that I have mentored mature in their space. This is a newer feeling for me and it makes me happy to see coworkers thriving in other spaces.”
