We Are OST: Andrea Houg

Meet Andrea, one of our talented App Developers. Andrea loves problem solving and researching new ways to do things. A Hope college alumna, Andrea started out as a chemistry major, but changed paths once she discovered her passion in computer science.

We asked Andrea, “What brought you to OST”?

“I first heard about OST from a Hope Professor, Dr. Ryan McFall. Dr. McFall is the chair of the Computer Science Department. He spent a summer interning at OST doing everything a college intern would. He did this to keep up-to-date with industry standards, practices and to better equip his students to work in the field. He spoke highly of OST and of the people here and he used it as a way to incorporate it into his class. He took us on a field trip to OST and that’s when I realized what an amazing place this is”. #WeAreOST
