The newly achieved security and identity competency allows the firm to continue to work with clients to address specific needs as remote work continues.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – December 16, 2020 – OST, a business and IT consulting firm, achieved the Microsoft Gold Cloud Productivity Competency and joins an elite tier of less than 10% of Microsoft Partners. The competency demonstrates OST’s commitment to delivering best in class capabilities while supporting Microsoft’s enterprise customers in Office 365 and cloud integration services.

The Microsoft Gold competency is the highest accreditation that a partner can receive in the Cloud Productivity category. To receive the proficiency, engineers at OST took a comprehensive exam to achieve this new skillset as well as received customer references that validate success of past engagements.

OST’s Cloud Solutions team supports new customers that are looking to do secure, remote work implementation. The team is focusing on addressing and meeting specific needs of enterprises’ dispersed workforces amid a global pandemic. Additionally, the competency supports the ability to manage complex migrations, including mergers and acquisitions.

“This new achievement allows OST to flex our deep-rooted knowledge in Microsoft and gives us a new edge to help our current and future clients with their technology needs. As a Microsoft partner with the Gold competency, we are able to help our clients move their remote workforce and Modern Workplace initiatives forward quickly to securely support the rapidly changing needs of the business,” said Chad Willaert, Cloud Team Lead/Solution Architect.

Microsoft competencies are designed to refine partners’ specific capabilities and meet customers’ needs and be recognizable to prospective ones. OST will continue to work with current clients and utilize it’s newest competency to search for new ones.
