We recently asked Jim VanderMey, OST CIO, for a few book recommendations around culture and innovation. In true Jim fashion, he came back with 39 books that have informed his thinking on innovation, culture, and the role of technology in the enterprise. Each book has a personalized description and summary of the value Jim found in the book.

The 39 books are broken down into six topics:

Informing: What’s going on that I should aware of in the innovation space?

Analytics: Books on data, and how we use it to transform our enterprises.

Design Thinking: Applied to discrete business problems including service design and user adoption issues

IT stuff: The technology is still very important. What are some interesting trends and thoughts?

Leadership: How do I lead and manage through organizational change?

Trends and Context: What is going on socially and ethically with the technology and where do I fit in?

Today’s post features the books in two categories: Analytics and Trends & Context. If you see a book that seems like a great fit for the challenges and opportunities you face, let us know. We would love to send it to you!

Interested in one of these books? Let us know, and we will send you one!
